If Your Stirrup is Right For You . . .

  • … your foot will sit easily in the middle of it and not rub against the stirrup sides.
  • … it will mimic your favorite pair of shoes and not cause foot ache or foot fatigue.
  • … it will rest comfortably against your leg.
  • … the stirrup’s throat will not bow after time, throwing your foot out of alignment.
  • … it will fit your foot. We don’t all wear the same size boots, neither is the same size stirrup right for everyone.
  • … just because stirrups came on your saddle doesn’t mean they fit your foot.
  • … it should reflect your style and be stirrups that look good to you.
  • … it allows your foot to slide in and out with ease.
  • … it will have a treadwidth that feels “right”, neither too bulky nor too skinny.
